Privacy Policy
Website Privacy and Information Practices.
Effective / Last Updated: November 2, 2026
Glendale Law Group, APC (“GLG” or “the Firm”) respects the privacy of Website visitors. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information collected through glendalelaw.com (the “Website”), the purposes for which that information may be used, and the circumstances in which information may be disclosed.
Submitting information through the Website does not create an attorney-client relationship. Highly sensitive, confidential, or time-sensitive information should not be transmitted through a general Website form or live chat unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
If an attorney-client relationship is established, information relating to the representation may be subject to additional protections under applicable law, professional duties, the attorney-client privilege, the attorney work-product doctrine, and the governing engagement agreement.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Website and Website-related communications. It does not replace or limit professional duties that apply when GLG represents a client.
2. Information Collected
Information may include:
- Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and other contact information submitted through the Website.
- Information voluntarily submitted concerning an accident, injury, insurance claim, potential legal matter, or other inquiry.
- Technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page or URL, pages viewed, approximate visit times, interaction data, and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Information supplied through third-party services or integrations used to operate, secure, or support the Website.
3. Sensitive Information
Social Security numbers, financial account information, complete medical records, government-issued identification numbers, and similar highly sensitive information should not be submitted through a general Website form or chat unless GLG specifically requests transmission through an appropriate channel.
Information submitted by a prospective client may be reviewed for intake, conflicts, responsiveness, and case-evaluation purposes and may be retained where reasonably necessary to document the inquiry, comply with professional obligations, prevent conflicts, maintain security, or comply with law.
4. Purposes for Which Information May Be Used
Information collected through the Website may be used to:
- Respond to inquiries and requests for consultations.
- Evaluate whether GLG can consider or undertake a potential matter, including conflict-checking and intake activities.
- Communicate with Website visitors, prospective clients, and clients.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Website.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other harmful activity.
- Measure Website performance and understand Website usage.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, ethical, professional, or court-related obligations.
- Protect the rights, safety, and property of GLG, clients, Website users, and others.
5. Information Disclosure
Personal information may be disclosed to vendors that host, secure, maintain, or support the Website or its features; professional advisers and service providers when reasonably necessary; persons or entities authorized by the Website visitor; and governmental, regulatory, judicial, or other parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, professional obligations, or safety requirements.
Website functionality may involve WordPress/Jetpack services, Fluent Forms, Tawk.to live chat, Trustindex review-display services, integrations with review platforms such as Google and Yelp, hosting providers, security providers, email providers, and other technology vendors. Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website and supporting service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for security, form operation, live chat, session management, performance, and review-widget functionality. Browser settings generally permit control or deletion of cookies, although blocking cookies may affect Website functionality.
7. California Do Not Track Disclosures
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not subject to a uniform industry standard, and the Website does not respond to all such signals in a uniform manner.
GLG does not currently use the Website to track visitors across unaffiliated websites for cross-context behavioral advertising. Third-party services may receive technical or usage information when their services load and may collect information over time or across websites as described in their respective privacy policies.
If applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized browser-based privacy preference or opt-out signal, GLG will honor that signal to the extent required by law.
8. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
GLG does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not intentionally share Website visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If those practices materially change, this Policy will be revised and any notice or choice required by applicable law will be provided.
9. Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, documenting intake and conflict information, maintaining business and security records, satisfying professional and legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods may vary according to the nature of the information and the purpose for which it was collected.
10. Security
GLG uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
No Internet transmission, email system, Website, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Website visitors should exercise care when deciding what information to transmit electronically.
11. California Privacy Rights
California’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”) requires qualifying commercial websites that collect personally identifiable information from California consumers to provide disclosures concerning privacy practices. This Policy is intended to provide those Website disclosures.
A Website visitor may contact GLG at info@glendalelaw.com to ask whether GLG maintains personal information submitted through the Website and to request correction or deletion. Requests will be considered and addressed as required by applicable law and professional obligations.
Identity verification may be required, and information may be retained where reasonably necessary for conflicts, legal claims, security, recordkeeping, professional duties, or other lawful purposes.
Some California privacy statutes, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), apply only to businesses meeting specified statutory thresholds or otherwise falling within the law.
If and to the extent those provisions apply to GLG, California residents may have additional rights, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information; opt out of certain sales or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and exercise applicable rights without unlawful discrimination.
This section does not represent that every CCPA/CPRA provision necessarily applies to GLG. Where a particular California privacy right applies, a request may be submitted using the contact information below.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Website is intended for adults seeking information concerning legal services and is not directed to children under 13.
GLG does not knowingly solicit personal information through the Website from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken as required by applicable law.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Website may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services. GLG is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties. Applicable third-party privacy policies should be reviewed before information is submitted directly to those services.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting the revised Policy on the Website and updating the “Effective / Last Updated” date. An additional Website notice may be provided when appropriate.
